Anyone recommend a decent web-based knowledgebase software? Nothing fancy is needed, just something where logins can be used (only needed for the backend), needs a backend for tech KB articles, and a frontend for user KB articles.

You could probably use SugarCRM (http://www.sugarcrm.com) for that - with some slight modification it can do pretty cool stuff.

SugarCRM does so many things, but I think I'm missing the KB area of it. Currently use Track-It!, not looking to replace the software, just looking for something to replace the KB of it, which is just a *.CHM file basically.
Was thinking about a wiki, but haven't seen anything about private areas, albeit there's probably a hack for it or something.
