What does this?

I have seen people with their backgrounds(set into the desktop) somehow having System information and stuff. Well I am curious if I can do the same, like having set in my background information on my CPU and general System INformation along with my folding stats....

OK working, and i am working on getting it to look cool, but what about the F@H stats?

How do you get it to work? I can't seem to get it to run, I dont know how to open it.

download it, right click, and open it in note/word pad

change teh following to what you want:


' Set the path and name of the output text file
Path = "d:\the fold\stats\stats.txt"

' Set the Folding@Home user and team to be queried
TeamID = "93"
Username = "shwaip"
UserID = "3172"

The userid can be found on the extreme overclockers stats.

then, you set up coolmon to something like the following by right clicking the icon in the start toolbar(it looks like a c), and then clicking "Display items":

< b>Total Points: < NAME=FILEDATA FORMAT="D:\the fold\stats\stats.txt,8">


(get rid of the spaces before 'b' and 'NAME'

if you change what directory the script stores the file in, you need to change what directory the coolmon stuff points to.

Not if the person is using a BNC for IRC. By openly exposing your IP your are asking to be attacked if someone has a grudge against you.
