I am sure most of you know about the NSA spying and AT&T's "secret room" to give information to the government and the document in hands of courts the media is trying to get its hands on...yeah, crazy stuff.

Here is a link to the continuing drama. http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/052206F.shtml

Here is the PDF file with the 30 page report, with a great deal of detail, that has been published thus far.

Man, I also don't want ISP's deciding what sites I get to connect to. I wonder if it will affect our FOLDING if congress does not stop it.

This is interesting in the wake of the BellSouth merger ...probably been going on since 1984.

I have yet to read all of it too...not to mention that I don't really know what they are talking about most of the time.

But this 30 page report does not include the information AT&T currently is trying to prevent the San Francisco courts from being released to the press because they say it will damage what the way their business works...or something like that.

The other things going on right now that has me on edge is the "Internet Nutriality" Dilema. Imagine you trying to get on Short-media and you getting a REALLLLLLYYYYYYYYY slow connection to it [think 28.8k slow], or the web page not even loading...because SBC, Comcast, Verizon, etc is asking them for money.
Scary stuff
