Dual Core Problems [Archive]

I have suspicous that something is wrong with my X2 4400+. The computer starts to lag down and slow extremely bad. It bogs down during basic functions. I checked CPUZ and both cores said they were running at the same frequency. Are there other programs that can detect both cores.
I am going to check the memory right now and find out what the deal is.

what does ctrl alt deleate tell you in processes

somethig using up CPU or a very large amount of men usage?

Sometimes if you are having hardware problem Windows can be occupied dealing with it.

Please test your hardware.
