<b>Monday morning, here we go! Alot of good reviews coming into the mailbox today</b>...
"After the intial 'slowness' the drive has performed very well, it certainly imporved my overall system performance and allowed for faster installing and ripping of data. The odd knock still ocured but it isnt constant and might happen once a hour or once a evening. The noise can be loud on boot up but once it is spinning the sound is reduced to a gentle hum."

"It's hard to cut it in the jungle of aftermarket Pentium 4 heat sinks. Intel provides such a very large, attractive, effective and easy to install heat sink that your average computer user and even many of the performance minded have little incentive to replace it. "Notice the power supply up top. This initially caught my eye because of the mesh screen instead of the normal fan grill that I am used to seeing. The reason for this became apparent on closer inspection as I realized that there is no rear exhaust fan for the PSU. It has a single 120mm intake fan mounted on the bottom pulling air up into it and out the rear. I was a bit concerned about this at first until I powered it up. The oversized fan that the PSU uses is not only effective in pulling air from inside the case, but it's also fairly quiet as well."

You don't have to put it into an external power source either, as the PS2 port supplies the power needed. One thing to note. When the backlight is illuminated there is an annoying high pitch noise that comes from the keyboard."
