FSB and Ram frequency

Does the Front Side Bus speed effect the frequency of DDR Ram?

On most boards they are linked together either syncronously or asyncrounously. Some boards however do it separately and adjust the memory bus to the next appropriate standard. You can manually use a dividewr to keep the memory within spec while getting a high FSB out of the CPU, provided you have capable equipment.
