Any thoughts on "Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 w/Update Rollup Release 2 OEM 1 Pack" instead of XP home?
He'll mostly be using the pc for dvd work (watching, copying, making) mp3 stuff, and some gaming. This will be as close to a HD ready machine as possible.
I don't know if its worth it, or if there are issues with it. I do,t know if it out there with windows ME or just XP home with some software to make media easier.
