Bump top 3D desktop prototype

So you've seen Vista and OSX and you still want something more from your desktop environment? How does This (http://honeybrown.ca/Pubs/BumpTop.html) grab you? I think it looks pretty awesome, but it's hard to tell exactly how practical it is.

I can see it going places, but right now in its current state it is just a party trick. It needs to be polished up a lot.
