A guy at amdmb.com forums asked me to modified a version of bios v1.0 so I took the original file modified by Mickey Page (thanks Mickey!) from Logan's website (http://www.logan.eclipse.co.uk/downloads.htm) and added SATA bios v4.2.27
Update: a few reports of corruption have surfaced so I'm forced to remove the "SATA corruption free" claim.
Update: when Abit released bios v1.2, they posted this warning:
Once update this BIOS revision 12, backward flash to 11 and 10 is impossible.
Meaning if you're currently using anything newer than v1.2, you might not be able to flash back to previous versions but AFAIK, using the /F switch (force flash) should work. Please, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Bios v1.0, 10 & 10.5 multi's operational at high FSB w/CPU Interface enable and new SATA bios:
For NF7/NF7-S v2.0 only! - tested and found safe to flash but none the less, use at your own risk!
The file was taken down but you can find it here. (http://forum.abit-usa.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=180670)

Investigation update:
I have confirmation that multi's 10 & 10.5 are present and working good even with "CPU Interface = Eenable" up to and above 224MHz FSB.
To complete the investigation and post the file again, I need confirmation on the SATA corruption issue. To test for corruption, one should use this:
Compressing a file is a good way to test if you have problems with data corruption...
It should preferably be many smaller files (tend to cause most problems)
And if possible you should also encrypt the file... Using compression is not important it seems, you can just use the "store" function (N/A compression) if your program supports it...
I use WinRAR myself in which you can just use the "test" button when you have created the archive to verify the compression...
Compressing for example Temporary Internet Files can be a good idea if it's many files ~3000 or so... Or whatever you like, the whole Windows directory would also be a good choice, however you wont be able to add all files because they are in use...
Anyone wants to try it? if corruption doesn't exist, we may have the "mother of all bioses " here... :D

Equito, that corruption, is that only for regular IDE drives on adapter/sata interface? I run a Raptor on the sata and bios 10 and have never had any corruption. Multi 10 and 10,5 works with Cpu Int enabled. I´m still tempted to try though. :D

That bios you're using, is the one from Loggan's website? if so, can you please test for corruption?
Original v1.0 has corruption on SATA ports either single or RAID.

Not sure actually now that you mention it....but i´ll try a few temp internet files with winrar and add encryption. BRB.

Edit**// No corruption. I rared 100 cookies with split/password/encryption so i guess i already use a modded bios.

Spinner had this to say
All three NF7 threads merged.
Thanks, I know your intentions were good but I don't think it was a good idea because now we have mixed versions on various links all over the thread and it can get very confusing if you don't read carefully.

After looking back, I agree, I have re-seperated the threads. I think they're just about back the way they were, please correct me if I'm wrong.
