Undeletable file

Yeah I know I should know better but I use Limewire.....anyways. I downloaded a file, but it does not open. It is a movie file specifically mpg. I've tried deleting it but when I press the delete button nothing happens and I hear a small beep. Same thing when I drag it into the Recycle Bin or even try to rename it. I can't delete it in Safe Mode, and other programs I've downloaded to delete it won't allow the file to even be a possibility of delete. When I right click on it the only options I get are Play, Add to windows media player list, Add to burn list, open with, and sent to. Please help me get rid of it.

yes MT limewire is bundled w/spyware however its obviously up to you if you want to keep it or not although i'd highly suggest to uninstall and find a more non-spyware p2p program but as for the undeletable file..whats the location (file path) of this file so i can help you get rid of it

Well after many many mmaaannnyyy hours researching and scouring the internet I found a solution that worked. I went into the command prompt and used the erase call so it would appear I am ok now. But thank you for your reply!

oh ok no problem,
I was just asking for the filepath as to give directions on avenger but that works 2:thumbsup:
