I recently purchased a laptop, but I am wondering if it is possible I can have my PC run off of my laptop's screen. Kind of a strange question, but I have a real old clunker monitor I'd like to get rid of if I could. I was wondering if something like a KVM switch could be used to flip between the PC and the laptop controlling the screen.

I don't think you can do this. The KVM would need to interupt the connections to the lappy's monitor.

Though maybe you could use a second keyboard and mouse and use the display through an aux video input.....
