I am running Windows XP Home edition version 2002 service pack 2 on my dell. I have only one user account on the computer and keep having to go through the log-on/choose user screen every time when i start up my computer, even though there is only one available user account. before i upgraded the service pack, i was able to just bypass the log-on/choose user screen. Is there any way that i can bypass having to log-on every time that i start up my computer?

Yeh, there should be an option that says something along the lines of "show welcome screen" or something like that, I forget. It should be right there.
START>> Run>> Type this "control userpasswords2"
That brings up the "User Accounts" window. Uncheck the "User must enter a user name an password to use this computer." It will ask for a user name and password to use to auto login... That's it. When you restart the PC, it will auto login.
Cool?
