seriously looking at a Dell 2407WFP...but would my graphics card be able to handle the 1920x1200 resolution in gaming? i dont need all eye candy on btw..

Should run just fine... but it will lack all of todays new tech.. :( but it will run games on that res.

I'm gonna have to go with "not really". I have the same card, and some current games struggle at 1280x1024 (my native lcd res). Oblivion, for example, I have to run at medium settings @ 12x10... :-/

Well it will run 1920 x 1200 but not a high settings.. maybe medium and low

ok... well what vid card would be minimum for 1920x1200? and please dont say SLi or Crossfire :rolleyes:

7600GT or a 7800GT... you can pick those up in the 150-220 range:)

I'm still using a trusty old x850XT as well. Good card, but it will definitely struggle at 1920x1200 on any modern games. You'll have to disable all eye candy I'm afraid.
The cards Sledge mentioned are quite good for the price. As is the X1900GT, and the 7900GT (assuming you get some that isn't plagued with problems).
