Well, I got it Thursday, and started working on it, it broke saturday if I remember right, I got the hard drive adapter yesterday, and now he has a clean install of XP, and all his pictures/files back...I'm glad that it is done. That Laptop turned out to be a major pita.:grumble: But he is happy now, and I am $50 richer:celebrate
I only charged him $40 plus the cost of the adapter, I told him that I'd rather see him spend his money on a external hard drive to back up to, and some more memory rather than on me.
