I have a unopened original copy og FF7 :) i think they are worth liek $300 for the originals...

wow! :-O cool! i have an original FF7 pal version, sadly opened, but in mint condition none the less. i don't think that would even be worth a fraction of that price though!

So what do you guys want specifically in the remake? I haven't played FFX. Started with FF1 though, haha..

FFVII fully voiced over with next gen graphics of course! Maybe they can extend the story all the way to advent children as well... (im dreaming)

uh im not 100% sure but i think squaresoft or squarenix whatever there called is doing a FF7 Remake for the PS3 anyways :? correct me if im wrong i remeber seeing screen shots, at anyrate there redoing FFIII to the DS (the 1 that wasnt realsed to the US) should be out in October

UPDATE: We received word as soon as our boys made it back that Square Enix wanted to make it clear that there will not be a Final Fantasy VII remake for PS3. Repeat, there will not be a remake. But, there will be a new Final Fantasy game for the system somewhere down the line. We'll have info on that as it happens.


/cry :( they would make so much money and with people thinking the PS3 is gonna stink (with the launch) it would of made a lot of people buy a PS3 just for this remake

That tech demo looks nice - but it still isn't as .... i dunno... "moving" as the original. The music isn't quite as striking or something. I don't know.

Well, that is just a demo, and the music, well, thier previous MIDI's were amazing, but the quility stank. They need to remake the whole game. I wouldn't even care if they didn't make it exactly the same. Hell, as long as they got the story down, I wouldn't mind if Barret was a woman. Although if Tifa was a man I would kill them....

QFT! :P bub i did own a Playstation...and did play FF7 anways necro this is saw a video or something there doing a game based off of Vincent or something :confused: not sure but i saw a comercial for it

yes they are, its called "dirge of cerebus". If you have advent children on dvd (the specail edition), look at the bonus disc, it tells you more about the companies plans for final fantasy in the future :)
