Hey there.

I just saw all about this SMx initiative and I´d like to participate and become a host. The problem is (if it is?) that I am not a US resident. I live in Argentina, Buenos Aires.

What do you think? Could this be an issue? If not, how can I participate?

Thank you! :thumbup

Check out this thread here (SMX history at the top of the page)http://short-media.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9664

This will explain a lot of the SMX project.

From time to time the Committee will put an SMX rig up for adoption, you just put your name into the hat and wait for the powers that be (:respect: ) to choose the new host.

I do also believe hosting requirements are listed here also.

If you meet all the requirements, you are definitely eligible for an SMx machine. Living in Argentina does not disqualify you from the running. We have SMx machines in Australia, Canada, the UK, and the US. You never know where one might end up next :D

From a typical signup thread:

...there are no geographical limitations on hosting eligibilty. (http://www.short-media.com/forum/showthread.php?t=47723)

It's been a goal of ours to get at least one SMx rig on every continent - someone will be our first South American representative. :D
