Hitman: Blood Money Problems...

I just installed the game, and I started playing and there weren't any problems until I received a gun. I cannot hear the gunshots when I fire the pistol, M4, Spas-12, Dragonov. But I can hear the enemies gun shots with their pistols and shotguns. Everything seems supressed/silenced to me.

All other sounds seem to work.

Any ideas? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
