I noticed today that there area few laptops out there now with this TPM chip, such as at powernotebooks.com, not all the laptops have them but the ones from Compal seem to have them integrated. Kinda worries me about things to come.... :-/

My ThinkPad has one but I've got it working for me The Way God Intended (http://domino.research.ibm.com/comm/research_projects.nsf/pages/gsal.TCG.html). I figure I can at least trust the open sourcers not to bone my rights as a computer owner/operator the way I trust Microsoft will do everything in its power to please its corporate affiliates at the expense of its customers.
