well I have a few, the best right now Is Company of Heroes "BETA" but My all time fav in LOTR BFME2. Hey GnomeWizardd we shoudl play sometime...

"The Rise of The Witch King" base on the wars of Angmar and Arnor, looks pretty sweet.

Have you played the WOTR side of the game? it too is good for hours of enjoyment.

Anyone interested in RTS games should go and watch the trailer for 'supreme commander' a game due next year from the creator of Total Annihilation. It seems to be built on many of the ideas from that game (start with a commander, build factories for each type of unit, mine metal and produce energy etc) but on a much grander scale.

I was able to sit down at E3 on this game, and was not impressed with game play, I was impressed with its gaming engine, but the units and fighting were lame. The battles became to epic sizes which ended up in chaos, or pretty much send in what you got and see what happens. The boats and the physics involved are pretty cool, but from the demo it will be like most fighting games. First one to nukes says "GG"

I do want to credit them with the largest maps I have ever seen in a rts game, making multiple fronts a plus, but still way to chaotic for my taste. I am really stuck on this Company of Heroes game :) at least until CnC 3 rolls out mid next year.

Oh yeah! CnC3 has been in production for almost 1 year.. it will roll out around March of next year.

They recently posted a position for a level designer with experience in RTS gaming, specifically with the late-model WC3 map design tools.

SC2 or WC4 here we come.

I like Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War. The only thing that bugs me is you can't zoom out very much. Good voice acting and a decent (for RTS) plot.
