I liked the first one but there wasnt really much depth of strategy. Don't remember playing the sequal.

The game was okay.. just each match last a bit to long, and with some many tech tress it makes it impossible to master. I mean I tried to play countless times vs. the AI on hard and no matter what I did I always seemed to play for like 3 hours as I would demolish his main base and than all the sudden he had a brand spanking new super base with a huge army 3 era's ahead of mine...

The game has good features and bad... I like long games in RTS's but EE2 just seemed to be one of those games I couldn't grasp.

I like it... The addition of weather was something pretty cool... The expansion was an interesting addition to the game... It adds a whole new dimention to it...

Dude I thought it pretty much an exact clone of Rise of Nations. Personally I thought Big Huge (Or whoever made RoN) was going to sue.

It's almost identicle to RoN with the Thrines add-on.

So, not real great IMHO, it did nothing new for the genre.
