View Full Version : Good Power Supply to power 7600GS

I have a power supply of 420.. but it takes min of 400 I dont think its enough I need around 500 watts I think... any suggestions?

1 gb of ram, seagate 200gb i think 7200 rounds, right now it powers my radeon 9800 fine and also have my intel pentium 4 proc 2.66ghz

your PSU should be more than fine to run a 7600GS, as your current grphics card uses more power as it is.

hmm really? isnt it good too have a bit more over the min?
since mine only provide 420, i would think having 500 would be nice

It is always nice to have more power, but your only using 1 HD and a 1 gig of ram, you don't need that much power to run it :)

hmmm does the 420 divide equally in all my units?
not sure how watts work, i guess they spread equally

The 7600GS uses less power than most cards out there from what I understand ;)

seriously? I dunno... and I JUST read that it doesnt work with dell dimension 4600 which i have but... it runs my radeon like a charm...
and i ordered it!...
