Thanks in advance for any help that is offered here.

After being infected with a multiple factions of coolwwwsearch I followed the directions as listed in several of the other threads.

Smit-rem, HJT, Adaware, Ewido, Panda, etc.

Now my computer won't hardly let me copy/paste anything. The search feature that you access via the start button won't work at all. Searches on a website are also not useable.

Here's my logfile if anyone can help............

Thank You !!

Thanks for the reply............

When I try to download the coolwwwsearch smartkiller my internet explorer security blocks the download. I have tried everything I know to do to try to download the program but no luck. I removed the 3 items from my registry as suggested but nothing has changed so far.

I have also noticed that on some forums I cannot post a reply. I can highlight but I cannot cut & paste or copy and paste most things (fortunately I can copy/paste the HJT log file).

Here's the newest..........

Paste a screenshot of the download being blocked please.

Copy/ Paste feature won't work on the download site.

When I try to download the file from snapfiles.com it starts the download process but just before it gets to the end, the following dialogue box drops down right below the address bar at the top of the page...........

"To help protect your security, Internet Explorer blocked the site from downloading files to your computer. Click here for options"

My desktop shows I have a zipped file named "delcwssk". When I open the file, it shows a file named miniremoval coolwwsearch smartkiller. When I try to run that it says..........

Miniremoval Copyright (c) 2004 Safer Networking Limited
CoolWWWSearch.Smartkiller (v1/v2) has not been found on your computer

What should I try next ?

Thank you........

Update it, then run a complete system scan, apply all actions, and save a log file. Post it here.

Have you considered System Restore, or reformatting?
