I currently have OCZ Enhanced Latency 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (Model # OCZ4001024ELDC-K).
I'm in the market now for another gig to add to my current one, and started looking at the price on my current kit when I found a newer version of the kit with a model number of OCZ4001024ELDCPE-K. It appears the only difference between my current kit and this new one is the timings; the new one is 2-3-2-5 while my current one is 2-3-2-6.
Any word on the type of chips used in the new kit? Might they overclock better than my current one?
Furthermore, should I wait for the Christmas shopping season in November before purchasing, or would I be better off buying now?
