im sure sledge knows, so is there some patch or fix to get it to run at 1680x 1050? i looked and found some little .exe edit to get it to run at 1680x by 1050 but its not true widescreen, hud still looks streached and some things dont look right.

Going by a thread on here the other day, that's the best you can get.

BF2 lacks Widescreen support :( there is no widescreen layout it will run.

but you can hack the registries to make it play in particular resoultions. its on the ent somewhere.

That only works up to a certain point.

I think it is too 1280 x 900 is the max for any widescreen hacks :) which is far from 1680 x 1050 :)
