Well it's a VERY busy day here at Short-Media but we still have alot of news coming in that needs viewing...

“Nintendo single handedly resurrected the gaming industry. After Atari, Coleco and Mattel fumbled, Nintendo picked up the ball, and scored a touchdown. In 1984, Nintendo started to product test in North America. The reviews about its NES system didn’t hold up too well. Despite the lack luster reviews, Nintendo decided to release the Nintendo Entertainment System in North America anyhow. Luckily they did, as it created the first truly mainstream console on American soil."

"Who should consider getting MCE? Well the first group of people I would recommend to get MCE are people who are new to computers and want a nice HTPC. You can get many nice configurations out there, but personally I'd avoid Gateway, HP and Large Corporate system builders and go for companies like CyberPower & Alienware since they use more generic parts, run cheaper and can be easily custom configured."

"The limited range and usefulness of the Musketeer’s slider controls are dwarfed by a very well made and good-looking unit. Cooler Master could have easily cut corners in several areas, like manufacturing and packaging, to produce a similar product, but they chose to make a solid device that mod accessory manufacturers should study and follow."

"Asetek is well known for their vapor phase cooling solution dubbed VapoChill. Not long ago, Asetek entered the water-cooling market with the WaterChill. Most of you know the benefits of using water-cooling. They run quieter than air-cooled systems and have the capability to provide much better temperatures. Water-cooling is becoming more and more popular, especially with enthusiasts. They are neat to use and can aid a lot in overclocking."

"Intel released the 875 chipset for motherboards in April of this year. This chipset is their current flagship chip for the Pentium 4 CPUs that they manufacture. Unfortunately, at the moment, Intel's 875 boards are pretty expensive. Intel released the 865 chipset to meet the demanding needs of the mainstream user without sacrificing features and performance. Today, the 865 is extremely popular, probably the most popular P4 chipset available. The AX4SPE is AOpen's board based upon this chipset."

"So you want to multi boot eh? Ok...you don't want any OS to take charge or change the way your PC boots? Ok...I've come up with a “different” way to multi-boot up to 5 OSes... well actually I could make up to 31-32 OSes...theoretically."
