Install Windows OS to my Client Simultaneously with my Server - Possible?

Hi all,

I just want to install Wins OS to my client simultaneously from my server com so is there any possible way to do that? if you have some knownledge or experience with that one pls teach me how should I do that. Hope to hear from you soon

I take it you're talking about deploying an Op System image using RIS?

1. It can be done
2. I've never done it
3. A lot of things have to be in place and you have to make a Risetup.exe
4. Then you have to test your Risetup.exe before you push it out.
5. I don't think anyone is going to explain it in a few steps here.

I think you need a good reason to go there....like you administer 500 computers that all need the OS.

If that's the case, I'd start with this excellent article (http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/windows2000serv/deploy/depopt/remoteos.mspx) that outlines RIS. Or just Google "Remote Installation Services".
