Okay, now I'm pissed.

Tonight I was at youthgroup and we were jumping around and I guess I didnt have my keys locked on my phone. So we were jumping around and I get a call from the police department asking me if everything was okay and told me that I dialed 911. She was really nice and understanding about it and just wanted to make sure everything was okay.

So I figure the only way it got dialed was the 'safety feature' that if you hold 9 it speed dials 911. So I figure there has to be a way to disable it. So I'm going through the menu and I must have hit a wrong button cause it says "Sim Blocked" Crap..

Why would they do the equivalent of putting a little button on your car that if you accidentally hit locks your car; and not even tell you that it exists.

So im on the internet trying to figure out how to fix this, and I keep comming up empty handed. Does anyone know how to unlock a 6010? Cause I know that my pos cell phone carrier will wont to rape me before they will unlock it. If I cant do it myself I'll say piss on it and just buy a new phone.

RTFM.

All phones have their default security unlock codes in the manual.

Your puk?

Lock codes are often the last four digits of your phone number.

Take it to your provider's local store. My mom has had that happen to her half a dozen times. I think in the end they just gave her the code so that she didn't have to come back.

It is fixed and working, though they had to give me a new sim card. I was like just give me a code. But it was free. If it happens again she said that each new sim card would be $20..
