This morning (his first as a nine year old) he told me he feels taller, more confident, and stronger. He feels that he can jump higher, and run faster.
Here's to hoping the same goes for me when I turn 30 :eek3:

I got up on the garage roof (by jumping off a table and pulling myself up) for the first time in about 4 years the other day to check the rain gutters. Oh man... I suddenly realized that whole "stronger, higher, faster" thing stopped about 5 years ago, haha.

Come on, man. That sounds like child's play. I'm in my thirties and go to the gym every day - I bet I could do that with one arm tied behind my back. ;)
Happy Birthday, Perry!!!

A ton of Bionicles and Lego Exo-Force toys, a bunch of kids and $5 pizzas, one piņata, hours of happy noise and laughter, a 30 minute wait for face time with the Nintendo Wii, and it's official: my son is now nine. :)

That second photo is getting the photoshop treatment tomorrow, I assure you.
And I'd be a little worried about the safety of the computer in the background. But that's just me.
There is a heinous amount that can be done with that picture. He'll regret it when he's 17, I promise.
