Sheriff Kwitko's 1337 new license plate has been installed. Have you claimed it for your state?

[16:06] skwitko: As of 4:05PM Eastern time, my car is now the official anthem of frustration for techies in the great state of New York.

[16:06] thraacks: Hahaha, man, I think it'd be great if members of SM picked up the "RTFMNOOB" plate in every state.
Hilarious.

That would be great on a big truck! Especially after rear ending someone in a compact car..

For others who don't know what this means or what any other of the acronyms mean you can find a nice list of them here.

Resurrecting an old thread here.

You can only get 7 characters in Michigan

Everything I try with RTFM says that it can't be used...they have already blocked it apparently as offensive, the #$%$^#$$#^#.
I may have to go down to the office and apply in person, the online "configurator" just says that any combination with RTFM in it is "not available"

I might have to settle for RFMNOOB or RFMNEWB....what do you think?

Maybe OCZGURU or OCZ FTW ? ahahahahaha

Thread revival.

So far I've had 3 people stop me and ask what the plate means. I tell them it's easier to look it up than explain the whole thing. I also think the plate is causing people around me on the road to become angry when they can't figure out WTF RTFMNOOB means.

RTFMNOOB is now possible in Michigan unless custom plates can have one less character than state-assigned. My plate has 8 characters (YYY_####).

My plate has 8 characters (YYY_####).That must be the case, if I go to Plate it your way (http://services1.sos.state.mi.us/plates/) I can only enter 7 characters and everything that starts with RTFM claims to be not available
