Win2003 and an internal error has occurred.

On win2003 (NTFS, SP1with all security updates) --when I tried to use disk management , I received this error message :


An internal error has occurred. Please restart the disk management snap-in

It was working before. Recently this happened

I just realized there is another problem , if I double click any program to install, a program would not get installed!!!!!!

I take it the Local Disk Manager processes are set to "manual" and any dependent services are running? I assume you are on as Administrator? What kind of error is the Event Viewer showing?

What error do you get when you try to install something?
