If I, uh, "upgrade" to IE7, will it still be possible to use IE6? If not, is there a way to change this?

No... IE7 over writes IE6... IE7 can be uninstalled though!!!

Thanks Q. This is annoying for web testing...

VMWare (http://www.vmware.com/products/server/get.html)Server is free... you can install another copy of WinXP with IE7, take a snap shot, and test away.... and it's free!!! Just a thought.

Or, simply do a System Backup before installing IE7 and then a System Restore afterward if you do not like IE7. I do not trust IE7 to fully uninstall.

Or, simply do a System Backup and then a System Restore afterward if you do not like IE7.True but in Keeb's case, he may need to test with both versions. I LOVE VMWare because I can set so many snapshots to toggle between different configurations.

When you've 'upgraded' to IE7 in Windows, does the IEtab extension in Firefox render with the IE6 engine or the IE7 engine? If it's IE6, it seems that you can have a pretty decent testing platform using IE7 and IEtab in Ff.

You could also use Microsoft Virtual PC which is now free
