Dual boot partition Q

So I wanna install Ubuntu again, this time dual boot with XP. I only have 100GB to work with, so how should I partition it up? Dunno if this matters for the swap but I got 2GB of memory.

I am mostly concerned with media files and being able to get to them from either OS.

if you don't mind not being able to write to the media files partition from linux, you can put them on an ntfs partition (or leave them on the same partition as windows). If you want to be able to write to that partition, and be able to read it easily in windows, you'll have to go with a FAT32 partition.

File size is limited to 4gb for fat32 (at least, that's what a quick search tells me).

Just like schwaip says the easiest way to access files on windows partitions when using linux is by creating a FAT32 partition. Read only access to NTFS partitions is also simple and error-free but with read and write attributes it's very possible to run into problems, so to prevent the temptation of using the read/write access with NTFS it is generally recommended to use FAT32
