You can disable Zone Alarm, upgrade your avg definitions, then reenable Zone Alarm.

Try going to the link below and getting the file about how to set firewalls. In section four is a section for Zone Alarm Pro which is the closest info I can find on AVG's website for Zone Alarm enabling AVG.

If it still does not work, get AVG 7.5+ from AVG's site and do a scan after updating the defs (AVG maqy have been attacked by a fairly recent virus and disabled or corrupted).

My 2 cents worth, doesn't ZA Security Suite have an anti-spyware component? In my experience when you have two separate anti-v's or two speparate anti-spywares, they:

tend to fight each other
screw with each other's updating
unnecessarily put weight on your computer resources

I'd just take AVG anti-spyware off. In fact some of these "suites" are really a collection of programs that tend to fight each other a bit. SpySweeper's new "suite" comes to mind. Webroot just went out and bought someone else's anti-v to tack on (I don't remember whose) so they'd have a "suite".

Yea, you can't even hit "no" on those. I'll bet you've got some crud in there. You might want to do a virus scan, then take your HJT log over to the Spyware and Virus forum (http://www.short-media.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=57).
