32bit and 64bit on same disk?

Was I wrong when I recall reading somewhere that the 32bit version and the 64bit version of vista was on the same disk? I was looking at the case of Vista when I came across on the bottom it says includes information on how to obtain a 64bit DVD. SO am I missing something here or do they not really both come on the same dvd?

OEMs are either 32 or 64 on the DVD

the retail versions have both on the same DVD

I just talked to M$ and sad to say it is not so. The only one that ships with both is ultimate. on the bottom of the other boxes it says info inside on how to get the 64bit dvd.
