Nintendo wii??

i went looking for a nintendo wii a few days ago and they were sold out everywhere i went (as i had expected)

but i read in that article here that a guy baught one from toys r us, and they had plunty in stock and no lines........ i went to toys r us and theywere out too.....

i asked the eb games manager (who i know, hes been dating my cousin for 3 years) and he said they get shipments once a week, and they only get 3.......

so my question is does anyone know a store where they get bigger shipments of them? or something?

I have not seen ONE Wii in any store since November 19th. Not one. Sorry :(

I keep reading that they are supposed to crank up production even higher, something like 1 million units a month in April or something. Hang in there, you'll find one at some point. Seems like Target and Best Buy are your best hopes of getting one.

ok well i know that stores arnt suppose to hold them but im good friends with a manager at eb games and he said when he gets them he will hold it for me and call me......... so thats good

i called all over and a circuit city not in my city (20min drive) will have 15 of them shipped 2morrow morning, and the store opens at 10 and i will be there at 10 to try to get one.

you dont think there will be any crazy lines for them anymore will there?

i really want the system it looks fun, but coming from someone who has it ........ prime- do you think it was worth the money? and do you think i can buy it for 250$ or are they gonna make me get a bundle

CIRCUIT CITY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS WITH ZERO RESPECT.......

i called them yesterday and they told me they would have 15 of them shipped for saturday morning and to be there before the store opens and they would be sold out by twelve........... so i drove 30 min out of the way to get to this circuit city, i got there upon opening and asked if the had a wii............. and the guy goes yes we have 15 but we cant sell you them till 2morrow

i was like are you kidding me let me talk to your manager, and the guy told me the same thing, and i told them how they had told me to be there today at 10 b4 they sell out and he said "well thats to bad we cant sell them until 2morrow, and you probably wont get one, there will be lines"

All stores, <i>all stores</i> are (At a corporate level) told to hold the products until Sunday, because that's when the new week's sales flyer comes out in the Sunday paper.

And it's probably not a matter of disrespect. Working in the retail business, sometimes we lose track of what day it is and give the customer the wrong day. It happens. It's not that we don't respect you, it's that we're human.

im waking up at 5 and heading over to target at 5:30 store opens at 8 but the customer service lady told me that they start handing out the tickets at 7 and there is usually a line by 7 sooooo better to soon then to late.......

anyone think thats early enough?

sorry dude, I busted my ass trying to score one this weekend for my friend's 30th birthday. I even called my man on the inside (aka thrax) and it was all a no-go.. :(

I was able to score one from Target on Sunday. I got there at 9:30am and they had two left out of eleven.

yes it did work........... ive been playing it for two days thats why i havnt been on here to reply back

i got up to that target at 6 am and the workers came outside and said the truck came and they had no wiis like they were suppose to. i drove like 30 min out to a different target. i got there at like 6:30, i called information and got the stores number, i called the store and asked if they had any and they said they didnt unload the truck yet so call in a hour........... so i sat in my car watching jackass 2 on my microsoft zune lol............. at 7:30 i called them and they said they had 20 of them, i went to the doors of the store (store dont open till 8) and a lady came out and gave me a ticket with a number 1, then went back to my truck until 8.............. when the store opened i went in and got my nintendo wii ! crazy thing was they had 20 wiis and within the first 5 minutes the store was open 10 of them were sold:eek:
