..full intentions on buying Vista. They have a promo if you buy Vista you get $50 off a WD hard drive. Had my rewards card, 10% off coupon, and BB gift card in hand, had Vista and the hard drive I picked out all ready to go...then...I had to use the restroom..had buffalo wings for dinner and well yanno...so sitting on the porcelain throne my brain engages. Is vista something you just want, or is it something I need. Well hell, its what I want, it was payday and yanno impulse is a mofo...

...well to make short...I went home without Vista. I feel I have grown up a little resisting the temptation of just wanting the new toy. Why the hell I'm even sharing this must be the jack daniels dis-engaging my brain.:bigggrin:

I think it's right purty. (Vista, that is...) I've been running it on my laptop since the 2/06 beta, and it's been pretty solid. Mostly looking for things in new places is the only nit... Love the sidebar with the elegant little analog clock and RSS feed reader.. Seems more evolutionary than revolutionary at the moment, though...
