A lone, black wolf that Juneau residents have dubbed "Romeo" appears to have lost its fear of humans, prompting officials to set up signs reminding people to keep their distance from the wild animal.

The wolf has been spotted on several occasions attempting to "play" with dogs and people on and around frozen Mendenhall Lake...

More strange things in Alaska. Wolf picks up pug and takes him for a ride. (http://www.adn.com/news/alaska/wildlife/story/8626719p-8519068c.html)

Interesting news Leo.
Seems it might be a female and is trying to take the pug to the den as a baby.
Although they nicknamed it Romeo, so it may be a male looking for a playmate orrr maybe lunch.
Very strange that it would come into populated areas and interact with animals without killing and eating them, let alone interacting with humans.
Which is by far NOT their normal behavior.
As far as I understand wolves, they will almost always skirt around human areas and stay elusive, roaming the forested areas.
