problems with mozilla firefox

hello there i seem to have a worm or something inside my firefox only, please help on what to do, ive reinstalled time again when i launch only mozilla firefox it launches and switches my computer over to what looks like safe mode, also my system restore has stopped restoring properly at the same time and to boot my disk cleaner crashes half way through, i ran the virus checker and it cant see anything..
