back up power

I need to find a backup power supply that will ALSo shut down the pc safely

Small APC UPS (uninterruptable power supply) will do that job :)

Very good value. They come with a cable and power management software. In the event of the unit losing power, it will provide enough battery backup power and remotely shutdown the system. All you need :)

APC. I concur. Then again, if I go against Shorty he will beat me with a motherboard until I reverse my answer.

i thought so i have always used one but i have a server at the church and they wanted it to turn itself off, well i never used the software cause I turn it off manually
