Hello. I have downloaded AA, and I want to install it. My problem is, when I open the AA28FullInstaller.exe my computer slows down, locks up and won't do anything. I have downloaded the installer via torrent, downloaded from the original AA site. The file is 2.49 GB big. I started up in safe mode, just to check, and it started installing, but couldn't finish since I was in safe mode. What shall I do?

Please give me your computer specs. This would be a good starting point. ;)

Oh, sorry. Im running an AMD Athlon 2800, 1 Gb ram, ATI Radeon 9800 PRO, Abit AN7. Got a Seagate Barracuda 160 Gb, with 80 Gb free space. I haven't clocked it or anything.

On the website you downloaded it from do they have an MD5 file to verify the file was downloaded correctly? Was wondering if the file is corrupt.

Here's a great place to get help.

You'll have to create a "Forum" account and then post your dxdiag log for them to review.

Your specs. are enough to run the game fine. I would suggest some tweaking though.;)

By tweaking, you mean clocking? Figured it out tough. I started it when I went to bed, and this morning it was ready to install. Guess it took just REALLY long time to start. I blame the big file size.

AA is sensitive to over clocking, by tweaking I mean changing settings in and out of game for optimal performance.
