View Full Version : How Many Plan on Gaming?
Please report in... How many of you plan on gaming so I can have an idea on the amount of work I'm in for.
To Game or Not to Game,
That is the Question!

I will be gaming. It probably won't be hardcore, but I'd like to participate in a tournament or two, and random skirmishes.

I'd always like to think I'll be gaming, but it never seems that I have a spare second to actually sit down in front of a computer :-/
I'm thinking that I am going to take my Dad's lappy so I don't have to pack up my whole system.
I should be able to handle UT2k4 and AoE2. So I'll play those.
I don't intend on gaming hardcore or anything though. Probably more socializing and drinking :cheers2:

Good news... I hope by you divesting some of your tasks on others that you may have more time... or not. :D
All I care about is that whoever is there to game... I want them to have fun and feel they got a good deal. I hope I can find enough time to do more than just game. Duct Tape challenge, food tour, OHOP... all that stuff.
I'm not really into those newfangled FPS games, but I'd like to get some PC gaming in in addition to my board games.
I'm not a big UT fan because it's too fast for me. Battlefield2 is more my style.
I would love to game but I'm not sure what to do about my rig and an airplane....especially getting it to the airport.

Some have shipped their rig, I think. Disconnect the HSF first and pack it separately though. Probably the HD too.
I'm bringing at least two rigs... Maybe three. Only one will be a dedicated gaming PC, the other are OK Gamers and may become gamer server. :D

I'd really like to game a bit, but I might not be able to bring a rig. I'm hesitant about bringing my work laptop, even though it's mobile graphics aren't too shabby. I might ship my spare rig there, but I'd need to borrow a monitor at least. Might there be one available?
At any rate, I hope to get in some nice casual fragging in, even if I have to switch off with someone on a borrowed rig :D

I may have to amend my previous statement.
I would love to play. However, I don't think I can bring a monitor with me. Would there be any spares? If not, it's not a huge deal. I guess I won't be PC gaming. Sorry for the hassle. :)

I'll see if I can scrape a monitor from somewhere. If you're not picky, I might have an old 17" craptastic 1024x768 that you could use :-/
I'm gonna try to bring two 19" CRT's and my 19" LCD. :(

I have no intention of being picky, since you all are being so helpful. Heh. I just don't want to bring my computer and not be able to use it. ;)

Bring it, Bryan. Between all of us, you'll have a monitor. Even if I have to steal my sister's for the weekend :D

Thanks, man. I really appreciate it. Don't mean to be difficult. :)
