Yea, I'll continue to fold for #93 no matter what, I think that is the general mood for everyone that used to fold for teamicrontic, the team name changed, so Short-Media is where all our folding buds are.

I haven't even posted in our folding forum for maybe 2 weeks, and we're closing into the top 100 pretty fast i guess. May take us a year to get there because it seems we've got some nasty competition from rank 300 to 100

tex, that way you don't have to worry about folding taking over your forum, folding can takeover the short-media forums.
That is exactly what is being done, the post just hasn't been made yet.

I'm still folding away on a number of machines for the group. I don't know what's all being planned for the group because I haven't gone to the new forum except for a few seconds to see that it exsisted.

Aranyic has the forum locked or it would be dealt with. I made a post for him to post for me with links to the DC forum at short-media and everything.

When the site was hacked, there was the feeling that icrontic was dead. MediaMan, Shorty and PrimeSuspect decided to start a fresh new site from scratch and invited the Folding Team along, we accepted. This was before anyone had thought IC would be reborn and since we had made our decision, we followed through with it. We are still good ol' 93 and although we have a new name, we are still icrontonians at heart. I think in the end though everybody wins because now we have 2 great sites because of it.:)

Zelig, TBonZ pretty much nailed it, but I just want to make clear that we made efforts to contact Mortin to get icrontic back up and running as quickly as possible. The delays in hearing back from him (Hearing back from him consisted of a link to the ebay auction after several days of trying to contact him) are what caused what we feel was a lack of momentum. The folding team was milling around, and starting to collect over at amdforums.com, so based on the fact that we had to wait 7 days for the ebay auction to conclude, we decided that we could get a new home started faster than icrontic could be back up and running. The end result is awesome. We have icrontic back, with new ownership, and we have short-media, which kicks ass (if I may say so myself...:) )

The important thing is both sites are cool. We support each other and the folding team stayed intact!

It does not matter WHERE you fold but rather that you DO FOLD, and that team 93 stayed together right? They thought what they were doing was the right thing and the new icrontic supports their efforts also.
