well not sure if you guys read about the death of my 8rda+ a week ago, but yea i got it rma'd and its on it way (due fri.)

my question is, with the v2.0 that hit in "eurasia" i was wondering if it made it way to the states yet and into newegg.com's inventory.

supposedly these new v2.0 are official ddr400 compat and such. and newer stepping the the nbridge.

i just want to know if anyone has purchased or know of anyone who has purchased from newegg.com and got the version 2.0 as opposed to the rev.1.1

Do you mean the Epox 8RDA3+ (NF2 Ultra 400 - Official FSB400 support) or is there a 8RDA+ v2.0 (unofficial FSB400 support?)

well there has been talk about hte v2.0 in other countries and such and i found this link: http://www1.2themax.com/products/8rda+_v2.htm

which talks about the v2.0 to have ultra400 support and adjustable vcore.

i would personally say this is > than the 8rda3+ with the exception of SATA (which i dont have).

supposedly they also stopped making these the week they came out. i just want to know, what newegg has been shipping as of lately.

All rev 2.0's (Ultra 400) are A1 which are identified by CPUID and CPU-Z as C1 and are physically identified by an all black chip. All the previous revisions (non 400 fsb) are A3 revision and physically have a metalic circle in the black of the chip.

thank you goat, for clearing that up man. w00t but still this b*tch BETTER do 231+, the a3 core i had before it died was doing 231 with only nbridge cooling.

so we'll see, keep ya guys posted.

btw, do you happen to know which bios revision is used in htese newer boards. because i have corsair pc3200, and yea. already had to rma 3 before this one from the corsair glitch, but oh well.

thanks goat
