Just a bit of news::
ABIT has long had a reputation for being the overclocker's manufacturer of choice. Yet it seems someone in the company maybe trying to generate a new far-eastern cult religion out of the process. The first signs of this were had earlier this week, when their new Digidice SFF machine specifications included an "essential oil burner" with optional "essential oil". Barely two days later, we hear they are now planning to embed their own guru into future motherboards -called the ́Guru. This is what they said:
ABIT ́Guru is the first true artificial intelligence system to be integrated onto a motherboard. ABIT ́Guru is a new microprocessor designed by the ABIT Engineers for use only on ABIT motherboards and which allows end-users to reach a higher state of hardware awareness and enlightenment. ́Guru acts as a spiritual guide, sharing with ABIT users, tips for hardware monitoring, overclocking, BIOS flashing and audio tweaking functions in an easy to use, Windows-based interface. ́Guru can completely understand how to optimize the motherboard for ultimate performance. What truly sets ́Guru apart is it’s onboard memory that allows users to save their favorite overclocking settings for specific applications.
Very strange. I wonder what religious artifact will come next?
