I am looking into building a new computer with all the latest and greatest. Although I can't decide on what RAM to use and need some help. Heres what I'm looking at:
Corsair XMS 1024 (512x2) PC3200 CL2
-and-
Kingston HyperX 1024 (512x2) PC3200 CL2
The Corsair is more expensive by 5 USD and both come with heat spreaders.
Thanks in advance.

Both are good and it would be hard to say one was better until you consider what board it is going in. Some boards have fits with some makes of RAM.

The board is the ASUS K8V Deluxe (http://www.asus.com/products/mb/socket754/k8v-d/overview.htm)

For an A-64 system go with the Corsair.

I have both in different machines and am very pleased with them. I am using 1GB of Corsair XMS in one machine and 1.5GB of Kingston HyperX in the other. I don't think you can go wrong with either brand.

How about the ABit NF7-S board? Which brand would be better, as Kingston seems to be slightly cheaper? My last 2 systems had Corsair XMS in them, and never had a problem with them, yet.

Either one will work great. Just make sure it has the capability of low latency at however far you plan to push it. My XMS does 5-2-2- cas2@215MHz
Thanks MTGOAT.
I will be pushing for speed of course, but wont spend days experimenting with different settings as I do not have that amount of time yet!

Tell me, is this sentence gramically correct (no, the next one!)?
"A apple a day keeps the doctor away."
