It's just initial wowness. It will go away when you realise you are infact using an Apple.

Have you tried using OSX for more than 15 minutes?
OSX is remarkable in nearly every aspect - stability, powerful, less bullsh*t and easy on the eyes.
The construction quality of Apple's products are also worth mentioning.

Nah, unfortunately it didn't come with 10.3, but the CompUSA reps were more than happy to give me a voucher to receive the Panther update for $20 :D I'm going to mail it in on Monday.

that doesn't exactly mean computer games though ;)
I will say that I am anti Apple, but I am not against trying their products. I probably wont ever buy an apple computer (too expensive for my tastes) but they are great for the artists out there.
Apple has a long way to catch up hardware wise in my opinion. Forcing people to buy every aspect of an apple computer from them was a bad decision imo.
By the way, I want a division in the games section for arcade machines ;)

10.3 feels like it finally fixes all the remaining little annoyances that 10.2 had. They brought back keyboard completion (what a stupid thing to get rid of) and the finder sidebar is actually very cool.
I want to buy a mac, but as someone else said, they are just too damned expensive.
In case you're wondering how I know about OS X, I actually service and maintain macs as part of my work. I'm not a mac owner though.

Can't wait to get 10.3 :D
I bought a mac because I'm in the servicing biz too. I've noticed a lot of places look for experience with macintosh.

I saw somewhere where you can get an OS X emulator for linux. I was contimplating doing it to get some experience with OS X but my computer died yesterday so I wont be bothering with it till i get replacement parts.
