There's a space in my laptop which could fit a 80mm fan, I figure it'd work very good for exhaust since all it seems to be doing is collecting heat. Anyhow... I was wondering if anyone would have any ideas of how to power this fan.

Hmm, never modded a LT b4. As a matter of fact i've never owned a LT.
Maybe with a 12v dc adapter. You'll have to find one that will push the amps or wattage you need to run the fan.

lol, Quote from the above website....
So you're catching up on a little work at your favorite café, enjoying the scents of autumn. Like the mouthwatering aroma of freshly-baked muffins. Or the enticing scent of a double-shot latte. But your nose twitches as the smoky odor of overheating electronics reaches it. Then your trusty laptop locks up, leaving you thoroughly in the lurch. You see, heat is your laptop's most dangerous enemy. And our notebook cooler is the answer.

hahaha
Here's a review I posted up on my site for another laptop cooling device. Not sure if it's any good as I did not read it but worth a look. Looks pretty good, and it has a built-in usb hub.

I have one of those... I dont actually use the fans, but I use it as a stand for my powerbook so the heat generated from it doesn't shatter my glass tabletop. It also looks swanky too.

Are there no fan leads on the motherboard? check carefully.
