Hello there,
Recently when I make a partition backup image (Over 2 GB after being compressed) with "Ghost", it also generates, in addition to a "*.gho" file, a small file with the extension ".ghs". Could somebody out there tell me what this "*.ghs" is used for?
Any help is greately appreciated.

Norton breaks up all images into 2GB file chunks, the first file has the *.GHO file extention and all subsequent files are given the *.GHS files extension.
Because your image was only slightly over 2GB then the file would be small. It could be up to 2GB in size.
In other words, do not delete this file :)

Don't worry - keep them together in same folder.
If you try to use the image (either to restore or with Ghost Explorer) you will see it as one image.

In other words, these two files work together when the partition is restored. Right? Thank you very much for the help.
