lo everyone!

I just got myself the above motherboard and CPU (barton) and looked on the msi website Here (http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/mainboard/mbd/pro_mbd_cpu_support_detail.php?UID=456&NAME=MS-6712)
and it says that my CPU will work on this board if i set the settings to what is shows (FSB)

So i do and then the PC doesnt boot! The monitor does not come on and the only option i have is to reset the cmos by changing a jumper on the motherboard.

I have pc2700 memory and can run the machine with a FSB of 133 but obviously it is clocked lower that it should be...

The problem seems to arise when i set the FSB to 166...

please help folks!

haha as soon as i turned it on i could fry an egg on the CPU! Took the heatsink off and made sure it was on the right way, set all the BIOS settings and im cookin with gas, like shit off a shovel now :D
