Whew Tex, looks like you found yourself a great deal there. Good thing it's not too-good-to-be-true like the garbage with the A64 guy!

As long as you know the differance its not to hard to figure out really. Never lost money yet on ebay.

I buy stuff on eBay on average for 10 t0 30 cents on the dollar.

Too many people to too little items over here. Stuff normally goes for more than it costs new retail. Cept the £1000 printer I just managed to pick up for £190. But normally, it sucks :(

Stuff goes all the time for more then I pay retail at Fry's. That just means you should be selling NS,

I don't have anything to sell as it either blows up or wares out before I sell it :(

Sold a few things, but nothing special. Just selling a few things for people now. Still, I need cheap stuff and it's just not happening....

I think I look at a wider scope of things to buy then you do N.S.

And are you only searching for stuff in the U.K. ? I have shipped memeory to Belgium cards to other guys in Europe.

I bought a 64bit Intel Pro Gigabit NIC from a guy in Belgium also for like $15. Sometimes the payment can get weird if you can't paypal for stuff but actually a lot of folks will ship you stuff on eBay if you ask for it.

But I could literally buy new stuff at Fry's and sell it for more on eBay usually.

Right now I can hear those $50 128mb Radeon 9200's calling to me.... "buy me Tex.... nono buy ME tex..."

I hate it when the products actually start chanting my name.

I buy from all over normally (Available to UK) but I try to avoid US sellers as they normally try to rape me over shipping, and I have basically got bored with arguing with them.

I pretty much just charge straight shipping. They pay what it costs. I let the guy in Blegium set it up where it went fed-ex on his account and all I had to do was fill out the form and drop that baby off.

That was pretty sweet from my point of view. I have been surprised how cheap normal mail pricing has been to Europe. The guy in Belgium charged me like 5 bucks to airmail me the Intel gigabit NIC. I had it in 5 days. Thats cheaper then a lot of the U.S. shipping charges. I think a lot of guys try to actually make their money not on the item but on the shipping. They figure with what they charge for shipping it doesn't matter what it sells for.

Tex, in terms of re-selling stuff from Fry's on ebay, I saw a guy that had like 50-100 K7S5A auctions up with buy-it-now @ like $30 when Fry's had them for $20. They still had the Fry's sticker on the boxes... :D

I was just watching some of the XP/k7s5a combos going off last week for 90+ bucks when frys had them for 69 for a XP2000 and k7s51 combo.

30 percent isnt a bad margin considering most guys make some on shipping also just to go to frys and buy it then list it after testing.
